What You'll Do As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide high-quality personal care and support to residents while working closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities include: Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Support meal service, feeding, and hydration needs Promote resident mobility, independence, and restorative care activities Monitor resident well-being and promptly report changes to nursing staff Assist with vital signs, weights, intake/output tracking, and other basic clinical tasks Maintain accurate resident documentation and records Follow infection control, safety, and resident rights protocols Collaborate with nurses and care team members to deliver exceptional resident care Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented environment for residents and colleagues Requirements What We Need In A Candidate: Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing on the South Carolina Nurse Aide Registry Previous long-term care experience preferred Compassionate caregiver with a resident-centered approach Dependable, professional, and team-oriented mindset Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Become Part of Something SpecialAt Bishop Gadsden, you'll join a community where residents are cherished, employees are valued, and teamwork is the foundation of everything we do.
