As a Medical Assistant in our practice, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming, supportive experience for every patient. You’ll often be the first clinical touchpoint for families, coordinating care, and ensuring each visit feels seamless. Schedule - 32 hours per week, with rotating Saturdays

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs vitals, rooms patients and gathers specimens. Documents necessary information in the EMR. Collects specimens, performs in-office lab testing and prepares specimens for outside labs. Assists with in-office patient procedures per protocol and training. Contributes to the daily upkeep of office space and equipment. Demonstrates and supports PediaTrust Core Values.

ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Performs cleaning and disinfection of instruments and equipment based on practice protocol. Performs digital health workflows and initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty satisfactorily. Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Minimum High School Diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) Excellent organization and communication skills Strong knowledge and level of comfort with EPIC or other EMR system preferred

Required Length & Type of Experience: One year of experience in a clinical environment Computer literacy

Required Certification, Licenses, Registration: CPR certification Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred
