Position Highlights:

* Position: Medical Assistant or LPN  * Salary: Hourly rate based on years of experience/education  * Work Life Balance: Casual (As-needed), Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. 

* Location/Department: Chillicothe, OH. Gastroenterology clinic

What You’ll Do

The LPN/MA role is responsible for assisting providers with daily clinical operations including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, medication reconciliation, documenting in the electronic medical record, patient education, processing prescription refill requests, coordinating referrals and diagnostic testing, and preparing patients for clinic visits and endoscopic procedures. Additional responsibilities include telephone triage, scheduling support, registration workflow, maintaining clinical supplies, infection prevention practices, and collaboration with providers and interdisciplinary team members.

Required Experience: 1-2 years experience in medical office or similar capacity. Medical office experience preferred. 1-2 years experience in similar capacity if acting in the Scribe role. Preferred Experience: Direct patient care preferred.
